Hayley Williams is up for the best alternative award at the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards — but according to a fan tweet, someone named “Harley Williams” is nominated.
A fan on Twitter shared an alleged screenshot of a Warner Music Facebook post for the awards show, featuring a photo of Williams and the MTV EMA logo along with the text “Best Alternative Harley Williams,” but the post is not on Warner’s Facebook page.
“Hayleyyyy what is dissss hahahaha,” the fan wrote, to which Williams took a playful shot at Warner Music Group, which is the parent company of her record label, Atlantic Records. “Warner music, my dude, you’re on thin ice lol,” she wrote with a crying emoji,

The star went on to retweet a fan’s cover of “Simmer” off her recent solo album. “Stream petals for armor by Harley williams !!! @yelyahwilliams lol (we ain’t letting this go anytime soon),” user @rosexolored captioned her video.
