Harry Styles did so many cool things on his just-completed first solo tour: he helped a fan come out in San Jose, covered a Shania Twain song with opener Kacey Musgraves in New York and popped a Black Lives Matter sticker on his guitar in Detroit, where he also serenaded an expecting couple. But the 10-month world outing also did a lot of good before wrapping up on Saturday (July 14) with a show in Inglewood, California.

According to Variety, the tour sold just under 1 million tickets across 89 shows and the proceeds combined with contributions from promoter Live Nation and the GLSEN PRIDE campaign together donated $1.2 million to 62 charities around the world; click here to see the full list of charities.

In addition, Styles’ tour helped promote the voter registration work from non-profit HeadCount, registering hundreds of fans, as well as encouraging water conservation by saving the equivalent of 10,000 single-use water bottles by fans and 3,200 by the band and crew. Styles thanked his fans for their support and love on the tour in a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday (July 16).

“Kissy. Thank you for coming out to see us, it has been a pleasure playing for you all. I’m off to write some more music and I hope I’ll be seeing you again very soon,”
