In the midst of a busy year of performances, top-charting collaborations and never-ending rumors of her relationship status, Halsey seems to be ready for a new chapter.
Just over a year since the release of her sophomore LP hopeless fountain kingdom, it looks like the “Alone” singer is ready to put out some new music. Currently finishing the last leg of her tour of the same title, Halsey showcased a new song during her stop in London on Sunday (Sept. 23).
Announcing plans to release a track called “Without Me” in the next few weeks, Halsey treated her British fans with an exclusive teaser video on stage, where she sang along to the lyrics, providing a first taste of the new track. “Said I’d catch you if you fall/Does it ever get lonely?” read the lyrics on the screen, in between some sexy footage of the singer in the rain.
As the video came to a conclusion, Halsey confirmed the title and release date: “Without Me” will be out on Oct. 4. The singer has since uploaded the HQ teaser to her Instagram account — check it out below.
