Gwen Stefani Added to CNN New Year’s Eve Broadcast

The singer will perform and chat with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on Dec. 31.

Gwen Stefani just booked her plans for New Year’s Eve. The singer announced on Wednesday night (Dec. 26) that she will join Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on CNN’s Dec. 31 broadcast for a “performance and interview from Las Vegas.”

In a post about the appearance, Stefani confirmed that she’ll be appearing from the stage of her Just a Girl Vegas residency on the broadcast, which starts at 8 p.m. ET on Monday (Dec. 31).

Stefani joins a long list of artists who will be spending their NYE on TV, including the packed performance roster for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve With Ryan Seacrest, which will feature performances from Lauren Alaina, Kelsea Ballerini, Bazzi, Kane Brown, Camila Cabello, The Chainsmokers, Ciara, Foster the People, Halsey, Dua Lipa, Ella Mai, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth, Christina Aguilera, New Kids on the Block and Weezer, as well as collaborations between Brown and Alaina, Macklemore with Skylar Grey and The Chainsmokers and Ballerini.

Seacrest will host the event live from Times Square with the help of Jenny McCarthy, while Lucy Hale and Ciara will handle coverage from New Orleans and Los Angeles, respectively, ushering in the New Year as it occurs in the different time zones; Rockin’ Eve is produced by dick clark productions, and owned by Valence, Billboard’s parent company.

NBC’s New Year’s Eve will be hosted by Carson Daly, Chrissy Teigen and SNL’s Leslie Jones, with performances by Jennifer Lopez, Bebe Rexha, Keith Urban, Diana Ross, Kelly Clarkson, Andy Grammer, Brett Young, John Legend and Blake Shelton. Over on Fox, Steve Harvey will host with Maria Menounos, with performances from Sting, Robin Thicke, Florence + the Machine, Jason Aldean, Juanes and Why Don’t We.
