Grimes deleted all of her Instagram posts as of today (Oct. 24), leaving just one from earlier this year.
The March 3 post was for the release of Little Jimmy Urine’s hypnotic remix of Grimes’ “Kill V. Maim,” from her 2015 album Art Angels. The Instagram post shows the 30-year-old singer covered in blood wearing an oversized red hat. While the photo has no caption, the blood that covers her hands and long nails as she stares directly into the camera says enough without any text.
Perhaps the synth pop artist is hinting at some new music — after all, a clean social media slate is often the first step in unveiling a new era these days.
