Ariana Grande unveiled her video for “7 Rings” on Thursday (Jan. 17), and the ode to retail therapy and BFF time is jam packed with the pop star’s inner circle. Fans may be wondering who the ladies rocking the seven matching rings are, so here’s a list of all the women who appeared in the “7 Rings” video.
Njomza
The Chicago-bred singer-songwriter’s album, Sad for You was the first official release from Mac Miller’s label, Remember Music, in 2017. She also was the person who inspired Ari to write the song after the girls had too much champagne at Tiffany’s, Grande explained on Twitter.
Kaydence
Kaydence is another musically gifted friend of Ari’s, and the singer-songwriter worked with the pop star while creating Sweetener.
Courtney Chipolone
Often referred to as Ari’s “cousin” on Instagram, Courtney is Grande’s best friend who also appeared throughout the “Thank U, Next” music video. The duo is so close, the pop star has a tattoo on her knee that says “court.”
Victoria Monet
Victoria has been working with Ari since 2013, and actually co-wrote “Thank U, Next.” She also appeared on Ellen to perform the single with Grande.
Alexa Luria
Alexa and Ari have been friends since they were 10 years old and met in a PE class. She’s a foodie and her Instagram (@girlwithagourmetpalate) is dedicated entirely to her culinary adventures.
Tayla Parx
Best known for playing Little Inez in Hairspray, Tayla is a successful actress and singer who has worked with big-time artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Demi Lovato and more. Like Monet, she co-wrote “Thank U, Next” and performed the tune with Grande on Ellen.
