Shimmering brighter than ever, Dua Lipa sent the energy through the roof at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday (Oct. 10) with her magnetic performance of her smash collaboration with Silk City, “Electricity.”
The sultry dance track, which peaked at No. 7 on Billboard’s Dance/ Electronic chart, is a velvety electro pop ballad that puts Dua’s hypnotizing vocals front and center — proving she is the U.K’s newest pop sensation to be reckoned with.
Rocking a sparkly, sexy silver dress, the singer exuded an unique glow as she sang and danced in bare feet across the smoke-filled stage. Wowing the crowd, Dua Lipa oozed passion as she rolled into the steamy lyrics, “You give me a feeling, feeling so strong/ I know you’ve been treating, treating yourself wrong/ So let me care for you/ Baby, I’ma love you differently/ I’ll give you electricity.”
Backed up by two singers and a live band, Dua’s deep voice stole the show as the “New Rules” singer naturally delivered a stunning vocal performance accented by joyful, vibrant dancing.
Making her AMAs debut on Tuesday (Oct. 9), Dua also performed the sensual track along with her collaboration with Calvin Harris, “One Kiss,” in a lively medley that floored the audience during the award show.
