Justin Bieber announced on Tuesday (Sept. 15) that Chance the Rapper will appear on his upcoming single “Holy,” and that his world tour has been rescheduled for next summer. The song, which drops on Friday (Sept. 18), will be accompanied by a short film directed by Colin Tilley (“WAP”).
Bieber began teasing the new single Sept. 11, and on Monday, he posted an image from the set of the video shoot, with the singer rocking a dirty long-sleeve white shirt, his face caked in what looks like oil. Tilley sits right next to him in a director’s chair wearing a headset. Bieber’s longtime manager, Scooter Braun, weighed in on the fresh track in the comments, promising, “New era. Friday.”
Earlier Monday, Bieber teased that the new song was coming on Friday morning with the message “FOUR DAYS,” along with the single’s cover image of a blue sky and a link to the pre-save for the track. Bieber also announced that his COVID-delayed world tour is now slated to kick off at Pechanga Arena in San Diego on June 2, 2021, with new arena stops added in New York, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago and other cities.
