Carlos Santana is planning to keep the celebration of half a century of rock alive. The legendary guitarist and band leader announced the dates for his spring European run of the Miraculous 2020 world tour on Monday (Oct. 28).
The Grammy-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will mark the 20th anniversary of his Supernatural album and the 50th anniversary of his 1970 sophomore release, Abraxas, on the outing slated to kick off on March 14 at the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy.
In addition to those masterworks, a press release annoucing the tour noted that the tour will also perform what Santana calls “the new hymns and songs of tomorrow” from his band — which includes his wife and drummer Cindy Blackman Santana — from his 2019 Rick Rubin-produced album Africa Speaks.
The 15-date tour is currently slated to hit Switzerland, Poland, Germany, The UK and Sweden before wrapping up on Apr. 5 at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland.
Santana can currently be heard on Tyga’s new single, Mamacita, featuring YG.
