Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are very much still an item, with so many shared memories. Cabello stopped by The Late Late Show on Monday night for a chat and to reminisce how, six long years ago, they fell for each other the first time.
They were sweet 16-year-olds (or were they 17? It’s been so long!). And being stars on the rise, their paths crossed on the set of late-night TV. James Corden’s late-night TV show, to be precise. “I was completely in love with him,” the “Havana” singer recounts. “And he was the one I thought didn’t love me back.” They’re silly kids no more, but they’re still in love.
Also during the segment, band leader Reggie Watts threw out a leftfield question on the word “Miami,” and how it translates in French.
Cabello is, of course, the lead in Cinderella, which premieres Friday (Sept. 3) on Amazon Prime. Corden is cast as a mouse.
