The 91st Academy Awards celebrated a lot of memorable moments on Sunday night, but the evening’s surprises didn’t stop at the awards show. Camila Cabello and her beau Matthew Hussey made their public relationship debut, celebrating Hollywood’s biggest night at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, officially posing for the camera for the first time together.

Believe it or not, this is the couple’s first time striking a pose together at a star-studded event, as most of their other pictures have been caught by the paparazzi. Their first official photo together at the Oscars afterparty comes after a year-plus of dating.

The pop star first met Hussey, a 31-year-old British dating coach, on the set of NBC’s Today show in September 2017, and the couple have kept their relationship low-key ever since.

In fact, both Cabello and Hussey have even kept their Instagram accounts professional and their personal lives out of the spotlight. Instead of couple photos, Matthew’s page features relationship advice and motivational quotes, while Camila’s page revolves around her singing career.

It was only recently that Cabello even acknowledged the existence of her boyfriend, publicly discussing their relationship for the first time in November.

“He’s so similar to me,” she said during an interview with Marie Claire. “In person, we’re just weird and silly and stupid together. He makes me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.”

During a December interview with Billboard, Cabello said she was hesitant to further incorporate Hussey into her public life and that she didn’t plan to drag him onto the red carpet anytime soon.
