Camila Cabello’s self-titled debut album dropped a year ago on Jan. 12, and to say the pop star had an incredible time in the months that followed its arrival would be an understatement.
She toured, both with Taylor Swift and on her own; she hit awards show after awards show, and frequently left any given ceremony with a trophy or two for her breakout single “Havana” and more.
Now that the last page on 2018’s calendar has flipped and she can pause and reflect on the successful and transformative year behind her, Cabello is dishing about the album that was “the soundtrack of [her] life” on Twitter and showing her gratitude elsewhere on social media.
“This year has been all about you and the new memories we’ve made with these songs,” she shared along with some snapshots from her epic year on Instagram.
“At first they were my little secrets, and now they’re bonds that bind us together in the moments we’ve made with them. It’s our anniversary!!!!”
