Music is a transportive experience, but when Calvin Harris and Rag’n’Bone Man came through The Graham Norton Show to perform their single “Giant,” they took the concept to literal realms.
The soulful tune is triumphant in the face of struggle, and the vibe is channeled in the physical with bare-branch trees and mossy earth. Rag’n’Bone Man sings as if in the middle of a stormy swamp, flanked by Harris on the synth and a chorus of backup singers. Mood lighting and LEDs tie the whole room together, bringing the song’s sonic atmosphere into full bloom.
