BTS isn’t looking for “Permission to Dance” wherever they are in the world, according to the trailer for their upcoming single released on Tuesday (July 6).

Suga kicks off the intro while reading a newspaper outside an isolated laundromat before he walks out and joins the rest of the septet, standing in formation with their matching denim outfits. Snapping their fingers and swaying their hips to the beat in front of a street sign with markers including “Seoul,” “ARMY,” “London,” “San Francisco,” “Moscow,” and “Kenya,” BTS sings in unison, “‘Cause we don’t need permission to dance!”

The new “Permission to Dance” song, which Ed Sheeran co-penned, will be included in the CD single of “Butter,” which is currently spending its sixth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week (chart dated July 10). The four-track CD single, featuring both songs and their instrumental versions, will be out on Friday, July 9.

“Permission to Dance” was written by Sheeran and Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid, along with frequent Sheeran collaborator, British producer Steve Mac, as well as “Butter” co-writer Jenna Andrews.
