BTS Are Like Criminals Undercover in New ‘Butter’ Concept Photos

BTS might be smooth like “Butter,” but they’re not the smoothest nor most undercover criminals around, according to their latest concept photos.

The K-pop supergroup is spending its fifth consecutive week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week (chart dated July 3) with “Butter,” which they celebrated on Twitter and thanked the ARMY for. “FIVE weeks in a row!! #BTS_Butter is on the top of the chart again. It’s all thanks to #BTSARMY! AFBF,” the septet’s official Twitter account wrote.

And now the members are popping like trouble in the second version of their “Butter” concept photos, which BigHit Music shared on Twitter Monday (June 28). The set of images show BTS sharing their mugshot nameplates in a moody group shot before breaking them out into swoon-worthy solo shots in front of a bpm measuring board that could easily melt the ARMY’s hearts.

BigHit shared the first set of concept photos Sunday, where BTS is seen chilling in a breakroom with snacks, games and books. The scholastic-themed shoot provides a cool contrast to the concept of “Butter” being a “summer anthem,” as RM previously told Billboard in an interview.
