C’mon ya’ll, she’s just “doing this for fun.”
Britney Spears loves to dance. If you’re one of her 27.3 million Instagram followers you already know this, since she’s spent much of the past lockdown year posting videos of her like-nobody’s-looking clips, which often come down to the singer in short shorts and a bra top moving with abandon to one of her favorite songs.
But here’s the thing: if you don’t like how she does it, that’s on you. “I’m trying to learn how to use technology in this technology driven generation …. but to be totally honest with you I can’t stand it !!!,” Spears wrote along with three crying laughing emoji. “So … if my posts aren’t perfect … I’m doing this for fun !!!! If you think I should look like I’m on a magazine cover when I dance …. sorry ain’t happening.” And just to push her point home, she added another crying laughing, a speak no evil monkey and a dancing emoji.
The dancesplanation post came just a few days after Spears, 39, threw up an interpretive dance to Billie Eilish’s “I Love You” in which she spins, hops and wiggles her arms to the ballad, which followed on the heels of her throw down J Blavin’s “Mi Gente” on the same day she raised eyebrows by dancing to ex Justin Timberlake’s Jay-Z collaboration “Holy Grail.”
