Stars, they’re just like us! Britney Spears took to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 5) to show the less glamorous side of her pop star life — one that involves glasses, comfy clothes and doing house chores.
“Instagram versus Reality !!!! I wanted to show you what I really look like on a daily basis,” Spears wrote alongside a series of photos standing next to a ladder in her home in a flannel shirt, jeans, sandals and her glasses. “I can get insecure when photos are taken of me that I’m not prepared for ….. so I have always put so much effort into my appearance … but you know sometimes it’s nice to not try so hard and pull down your walls every now and then !!!! It takes a lot of strength to do that !!!”
Spears also gave a quick anecdote about playing basketball in school before concluding, “Psss in these pics ….. I was trying to fix a light but realized I was too short.”
