Billie Eilish is getting up close with the BBC.
The “Bad Guy” singer will appear on Billie Eilish: Up Close, a 45-minute special set to air later this week on BBC One.
With her second album Happier Than Ever due out this Friday (July 30), Eilish chats with Up Close host Clara Amfo about the new release, her rise to fame, and her role as an inspiration for youngsters the world over.
Later, the teenage phenomenon will perform a string of tracks as she makes her debut on the Radio 1 Live Lounge, filmed in Eilish’s hometown of Los Angeles. In keeping with the Live Lounge tradition, Eilish will also deliver a cover.
Happier Than Ever is the followup to Eilish’s multiple Grammy Award-winning hit 2019 debut, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which bowed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and ruled the charts in 17 countries.
Eilish went on to make history as the youngest artist to receive win the big four Grammys: best new artist, record, song and album of the year. She also became the youngest artist to write and record an official James Bond theme song, “No Time To Die.”
