Billie Eilish announced on Wednesday (April 28) that she’ll release her next single, “Your Power,” from her upcoming album Happier Than Ever on Thursday.
The Grammy-winning pop star wrote on her socials that the song and its accompanying music video, which she teased in a nine-second clip, will be out tomorrow at noon ET. “Try not to abuse your power,” she whispers over delicate guitar chords in the video, which displays an aerial view of a mountain range.
On Tuesday, Eilish announced that her highly anticipated sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, will arrive on July 30, and hinted a new song would arrive later in the week. “This is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” she wrote. “I can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel. alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am too!!”
Previously released singles “Therefore I Am” and “My Future,” which respectively peaked at No. 2 and No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, will be on the 16-song project. “Your Power” is the 12th track in the listing.
