Billie Eilish announced on Thursday (Dec. 3) that she has been forced to officially cancel her “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go” tour after saying there was no way to re-schedule it. “i wish that i could have seen you on tour this year. i’ve missed performing for you and being on stage so much i can’t even tell you,” Eilish wrote in a note to fans.

“we’ve tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour but none are possible and, although i know so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and vip passes, the best thing we can do for everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we can.”

The singer asked her fans to keep an eye on their inboxes for more information on refunds, promising that “when we’re ready and it’s safe we’ll let you know when everyone will be able to purchase tickets again for the next tour,” while urging everyone to “stay safe, drink lots of water, wear a mask.” After getting through three shows on the tour in March, Eilish was forced to postpone the outing as COVID-19 began to rage across the nation.

In her recent fourth annual interview with Vanity Fair, Eilish revealed that she’s 16 songs into her next album, promising that she and brother/collaborator FINNEAS have “been working. And I love them all… I think Finneas and I have just seriously really gotten in the groove. We do it so fast. There was a period of time, a month ago or something, we were just texting the label like, ‘Song done, another song done, another song done.'”
