BBillie Eilish hinted at a possible collaboration with Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía during the Feb. 26 episode of BBC Radio 1’s Future Sounds with Annie Mac.
Eilish said she had a session about a month ago where she “sang some notes I had never even thought about.” When host Mac asked with whom the session took place, the 17-year-old revealed it was the “Malamente” singer.
Eilish also talked about what it was like to work with her, mentioning that along with her being “the nicest girl,” she is also very in-tune with what she wants. “It was great, she actually knows what she wants,” Eilish said about Rosalía. “That’s why it was kind of refreshing ‘cause I was like, ‘Wow, you’re the only other person I’ve really met that’s like this.”
Eilish also touched on the emotionally-draining creative process of her upcoming debut LP, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (due out on March 29) and has kicked off her world tour in Manchester, UK today (Feb. 27).
