Like the rest of us, Billie Eilish is stuck at home with family. But unlike the rest, Billie is taking some well-deserved time-out after her career blew up in a way most kids can only dream of.
Billie Eilish and her bro Finneas checked in with James Corden Monday night for Homefest, an hour-long CBS special to raise funds for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Self-isolation is a real buzzkill. “Dude, life is weird, weird right now for everybody,” Billie noted. “It’s a weird time.”
Sat at a grand piano, Finneas chimed in with an update on how they’ve killed time. TV, mostly. They’ve hit Jim Carey’s Yes Man, and Fleabag “two or three times.” Documentaries, YouTube.
“Sometime in the next few weeks I’ll feel the urge to write about all this,” noted Finneas. “At the moment I’m listening to a lot of meditation music, taking baths.”
The sibling musos then hit “everything I wanted,” the 2019 single added to the reissue of When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? It was a polished performance, Billie absolutely nailing it with her dark, honey-coated vocals.
At the top of the special, Corden directed viewers to two charities he hoped to support with Homefest: CDC Foundation and Feed the Children. You can follow the links to donate.
Other performers on the show include BTS, Andrea Bocelli, John Legend and magician David Blaine.
