With nearly 40 million monthly listeners — making him the No. 8 most-streamed artist on Spotify — Bad Bunny says, “I feel like I’m on top of the world.”

“It’s all just motivation,” Bad Bunny told Billboard minutes before jumping onstage at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, where he performed at the first-ever Spotify ¡Viva Latino! Live concert series, which kicked off Thursday.

“I work with passion, and those numbers don’t change who I am as an artist. I’m still the same and I’ll be forever grateful to my fans who have gotten me here,” Bad Bunny added.

Daddy Yankee, Becky G, Natti Natasha and Jowell & Randy also performed in front of a crowd that was more than ready to see their favorite Spotify playlist — which boasts more than 8 million followers — come to life.

Dynamic duo Jowell & Randy opened the show with a set that took fans down memory lane, singing reggaetón classics like “Siente el Boom” and their newest hit “Bonita.”

The duo was followed by Becky G, who brought woman power to the stage, singing “Sola,” “Mayores” and “Sin Pijama” featuring Natti Natasha, who promptly appeared onstage to perform along with Becky G.

The collab was a perfect transition into a set from Natti, who pumped up the crowd performing “Criminal,” “Quién Sabe,” “El Baño” and “No Me Acuerdo.” At the end of her performance, she gave a shout-out to all female artists and asked that people show more support to women in music.

Wearing a Ricky Martin T-shirt, complete with the phrase “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” Bad Bunny started his set with “Estamos Bien.” His highly anticipated performance included chart-topping hits like “Chambea,” “I Like It,” “Krippy Kush,” “Te Boté,” “Soy Peor” and “Si tu Novio te Deja Sola.”

To end on a high note, “big boss” Daddy Yankee took the stage and began his set with “Gasolina.” After that, it was pretty much hit after hit, singing old-school reggaetón songs like “Rompe,” “Lo Que Pasó Pasó,”Mayor Que Yo,” “Tu Principe” and “Yo Voy.”

Near the end, Yankee brought out Bad Bunny to sing “Vuelve.” Then, Natti Natasha and Becky G joined the two onstage to sing their hit “Dura” remix, an example of the kind of collaboration that fuels this list.

The ¡Viva Latino! Live tour is produced by Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), with additional dates and cities to be announced soon.
