Back in March, Ava Max unveiled her powerful anthem for the queens, “Kings & Queens” as the fifth single off her upcoming album, Heaven & Hell. But on Thursday (Aug. 6) the singer called on her fellow stars Lauv and Saweetie for a fiery remix.

“Kings & Queens, Pt. 2” features a brand new second verse courtesy of Lauv, taking on the male perspective in a relationship with a strong, independent woman. “She’s the queen and I’m lucky to get close to the throne/ I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy, but she’s taking me home / No damsel in distress, don’t need to save her / She’s a goddess, I would never try to change her,” he sings.

Saweetie soon takes over the mic for a rap verse, uplifting all her fellow females who are destined for greatness (and shouting out her man, Migos’ Takeoff, while she’s at it). “Saweetie gon’ glow, Saweetie gon’ shine / Takeoff for the tens, I don’t see no nines / My name on they lips, my name on they minds / How I take it from the block to the Hollywood sign.”

Ava’s Heaven & Hell is out Sept. 18. Pre-order the album here, and listen to “Kings & Queens, Pt. 2” below.
