Can you believe there have been nearly 900 editions of A State of Trance? Armin van Buuren’s radio show launched in 2001 and has become nothing less than an institution. Fans flock to its streams and live events to hear the best and brightest of the trance world, and, of course, to hear the mastermind van Buuren do his thing.
For the special 900th edition, the Dutch DJ and producer presents a bright and energetic slice of heaven called “Lifting You Higher.” It’s got classic trance synths and a pulsing beat that sweeps you into its rhythm and does exactly what it came to do.
ASOT 900 is still a few months away. The big celebration will land in the Netherlands’ city of Utrecht Saturday, Feb. 23.
