Ariana Grande has teamed up with Ulta for a limited-edition perfume collection that includes her R.E.M. eau de perfum spray and a comic in which she saves the galaxy. The $75 R.E.M. Fan Box Set is described as a must-have for fans that includes “an Ariana Grande R.E.M eau de parfum spray, an eau de parfum travel spray and limited edition Ariana Grande Comic Book – only available in this set!”
The comic introduces fans to “the world of R.E.M. where Ari and her sidekicks, Toulouse and Piggy Smallz are on their journey to save the Galaxy!,” a reference, of course to her pet dog and teacup pig, respectively. The cover of the comic depicts Grande in a silver space suit and matching boots floating above a planet with a ray gun in her left hand. The perfume comes in a crystal-bundle decanter that looks like a section of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude.
Ari’s had a busy week already, tweeting out a tease on Monday revealing an upcoming deluxe edition of last year’s Positions album with four new songs. At press time the singer had not revealed the names of the fresh tracks or a release date — and spokespeople for Grande had no additional comment about the project — but we do know that it will expand the collection to 19 songs.
