Ariana Grande is set to release a deluxe version of her hit 2024 album, Eternal Sunshine, as confirmed by Republic Records yesterday.
Titled Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead, the new edition will include six additional tracks from the Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated artist. The original album, which dropped nearly a year ago, secured Ariana her sixth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and saw two songs, “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” reach No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart.
Grande has had an eventful few months since the album’s release, thanks to her role as Glinda in the Oscar-nominated Wicked film adaptation. The movie’s second installment, Wicked: For Good, is scheduled for release later this year.
In addition, Grande and her co-star Cynthia Erivo kicked off the 2025 Academy Awards with a stunning performance. Grande began with a rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” followed by Erivo’s rendition of “Home” from The Wiz. Together, they also performed a portion of Wicked’s “Defying Gravity.”
Looking ahead, Grande has hinted that the second part of Wicked will likely be much darker than the first. “I’m still recovering,” Grande previously told.
As for her future in both acting and music, Grande is excited for what’s to come. “I would love that,” she said. “I feel like I have so many beautiful artistic outlets, and we are so lucky to be able to do so many artistic things. We wear many hats.”
