Swedish superstar Alesso goes intergalactic in the music video for his brand new single “Remedy,” which is steered by a breezy, lighthearted dance-pop melody.
The visual (out today, Aug. 31) follows a little green extraterrestrial boy in search of a neon green vinyl, emblazoned with Alesso’s logo, to refuel his UFO after it crash-lands on Earth. After discovering a poster for an Alesso show featuring the image, the boy finds a fellow alien friend at the party, where the DJ himself hands them the long-lost vinyl for their trip back to their outer space home.
The track and accompanying video mark Alesso’s debut release on Universal Music Group’s 10:22 pm imprint as part of his recently-announced exclusive global recording contract. The deal also includes a partnership with Los Angeles entertainment company Shots Studios, which produced the “Remedy” video. Shots Studios signee Rudy Mancuso directed the clip.
