Adele’s sophomore album has hit the decade mark! The vocal powerhouse celebrated 21’s Jan. 24, 2011, anniversary of the U.K. release date with a little note on Instagram.

“Well I never! Happy 10 years old friend! It’s crazy how little I remember of what it was like and how I felt a decade ago,” she captioned the mini photo gallery, which kicked off with a cover image from the album. “But Thank You from the bottom of my heart for letting us into your lives and letting me be a soundtrack to some of it x.” (See her full post and photos on Instagram.)

Though 21 was released in Europe in January 2011, it wasn’t released in North America until Feb. 22, 2011. It went on to become her first album to top the charts in the United States; it reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in March 2011.

The album’s singles also did well, with “Rolling in the Deep,” “Set Fire to the Rain,” and “Someone Like You” each topping the Hot 100. 21 also earned Adele six trophies at the 54th annual Grammy Awards, including album of the year, record of the year, and song of the year. (She has a total of 15 Grammys to date.)

In April 2017, 21 broke Billboard’s record for longest charting album by a woman on the Billboard 200. It surpassed Carole King’s Tapestry with its 319th week at the time. The acclaimed album has since spent a total of 497 weeks on the chart.

Adele’s most recent studio album was 2015’s 25. Though fans are eager for a new LP, the singer hasn’t given any hints as to when her fourth studio album might arrive. While hosting Saturday Night Live on Oct. 24 last year, she revealed that her next album isn’t finished yet. She also told fans on Instagram in August that she isn’t certain about a timeline for it, saying, “I honestly have no idea.”
