Amsterdam’s Ferreck Dawn and Berlin’s Robosonic have the house world up “In Arms” over their collaborative single. It’s a funkadelic groove that goes on smooth and kicks back with chunky hip-hip attitude. It’s a mix of moods suitable for hanging at the house, driving with the windows down or sweatin’ in the club, which is probably why it’s racked up more than three million streams on Spotify this year.
The song’s moldable vibe caught A-Trak’s attention, and the world-champion DJ had to give it some cut up. His remix hones in on the track’s bumpiest elements, bosting the bass and brightening the melody with weird little wonky bits. It’s reminiscent of his late-aught bloghouse sound. There’s definitely something neon about this one.
