Before Twenty One Pilots hit the road for a world tour in support of their upcoming Trench album the dynamic duo plan to give fans a special sneak peek during an intimate gig in London. The one-off show, which they’re calling “A Complete Diversion,” will take place on Sept. 12 at the O2 Academy Brixton, with pre-sale tickets available here beginning Aug. 29 at 9 a.m. BST.
With Trench due out on Oct. 5, singer Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun are ramping up anticipation for the follow-up to their smash 2015 breakthrough Blurryface. They’ve already dropped a trilogy of songs/videos for the tracks “Jumpsuit,” “Nico and the Niners” and “Levitate” and during Monday night’s (Aug. 20) 2018 MTV VMAs they appeared to preview the new song “My Blood” in a short commercial.
The preview for the London gig shows the duo visiting the O2 Academy — which they first played in 2013 — while a remixed version of “Nico and the Niners” plays over a timeline of their history of shows in London.
