Calling all Lindsay Lohan fans: she is officially back! After announcing her return to music earlier this week, the actress/singer has now shared a snippet of her new single “Back To Me.”
Released on April 1, the 20-second teaser is just long enough to spark excitement for those who have been waiting for Lohan to make an official pop comeback.
“My life’s full of ripped up pages, I’ve been weak, contagious,” the 33-year-old sings atop a buzzing dance-club beat. “But I’m coming back, I’m coming back to me.”
Along with the snippet, Lohan explained the meaning behind “Back To Me,” tweeting, “The song is about rediscovering and accepting oneself, shutting out the noise and moving forward and letting the past go. Living in the now.”
“Back To Me” will mark Lohan’s first new song since last September’s EDM-heavy (and now deleted) “Xanax” featuring ALMA, and her first official single since 2008’s “Bossy.” The star’s last album, A Little More Personal (Raw), was released in 2005 via Casablanca Records.
“Back To Me” drops tomorrow (April 3).
