Episode four of Justin Bieber’s Seasons YouTube series is about the best of times.
The episode lasers in on Bieber’s relationship with wife Hailey Bieber, with Justin saying, “Since I was young I always wanted to be married. I always wanted a family. That was always high on my list.” Now, he can’t help gushing that he has “the sickest chick in the game.”
Married a decade after they first met, the couple are seen walking through a convenience store, with Bieber recalling the first time they met when he appeared on the Today show. A then 13-year-old Hailey was tired and not really that into meeting the rising tween star. “She was a little jaded at the time,” Justin says with a smile, noting that Hailey is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin.
In addition to testimonials from Bieber’s inner circle about the couple’s compatability, the singer describes the deep appreciation he has for his wife’s desire to be in the studio for the recording sessions for his upcoming album. “We care about what Hailey thinks. Her opinion is overly valued,” longtime Bieber collaborator songwriter Poo Bear says.
“I think there’s always a little aspect of excitement that should be there and nerves that should be there when you’re romantically involved with somebody, especially if it’s your person and it’s the right person for you,” she says, admitting that Justin still makes her a bit nervous sometimes, a sentiment he echoes. “It’s really hard being the muse of the whole album,” she jokes.
