Australian rapper Iggy Azalea came to international prominence with the release of her No. 1 smash-hit single “Fancy” from her debut album, The New Classic. In the video for the song, Azalea payed homage to the 1995 film Clueless, sporting Cher Horowitz’s iconic yellow-plaid outfit, which she re-created in a black-and-white plaid cheerleading outfit for the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
Now, Azalea’s iconic cheerleader costume has been sold on eBay for more than $2,000. The outfit, which was signed by Azalea herself, sold Thursday morning for $2,026 on the online auction site after 106 other bids were made for the ensemble.
Azalea, however, won’t be seeing any of the proceeds from the sale: All of the money from the original sale will be donated to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). Azalea also told The Blast that she would be matching the price tag for an additional donation to the LGBTQ charity.
Iggy has been hard at work preparing her new EP, Survive the Summer, before its official release on July 6. Watch her full performance with Charli XCX at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards below:
