Ed Sheeran is set to bring his Loop Tour to Australia and New Zealand in early 2026, and because of strong ticket demand, more shows have been added in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Auckland.
The tour will launch on January 16 at Auckland’s Go Media Stadium and continue throughout New Zealand before reaching Australian cities. The newly added performances include a second night at Perth’s Optus Stadium and third shows in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. There are now 15 total dates across both countries.
Tickets will be available starting Tuesday, July 29 at different times, while members of Frontier Touring can join a 24-hour pre-sale starting Monday, July 28.
The Loop Tour is tied to Sheeran’s upcoming album Play, releasing September 12 through Warner Music. Described as “an explorative, technicolour pop album that captures the fun, chaos, and heart of an artist reinvigorated by life and travel,” it features the singles “Azizam,” “Sapphire,” and “Old Phone.” This will be Sheeran’s first full-length project since Autumn Variations in 2023.
Sheeran has already made history in Australia as one of its top touring performers, having sold over 2.5 million tickets across the region. His 2023 +–=÷× (Mathematics) Tour set multiple records, including Sydney’s highest single-day ticket sales.
The upcoming concerts will take place in large venues such as Sydney’s Accor Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, and Adelaide Oval. The shows are open to all ages, but anyone aged 14 or younger must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
The tour is organized by Frontier Touring and MG Live. Details about tickets and VIP packages are available at frontiertouring.com/edsheeran.
