HUNTR/X’s track “Golden,” from the KPop Demon Hunters movie soundtrack, climbs to No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. rankings, taking the lead from positions 2 and 5, respectively.

KPop Demon Hunters debuted on June 20 in select U.S. theaters and on Netflix alongside its soundtrack. During the tracking week ending July 6, the film placed second on Netflix’s Top 10 Movies in the United States list.

As HUNTR/X lands its first chart-toppers on both major global charts, it also marks the first time a fictional group has achieved this feat — “Golden” is performed by the film’s main character trio, whose vocals are provided by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami.

HUNTR/X surpasses its in-universe competitors, the Saja Boys, though that fictional group places two songs within the top 10 on both charts: “Your Idol” jumps from 10 to 3 on the Global 200 and 15 to 5 on Global Excl. U.S., while “Soda Pop” climbs from 13 to 6 and 17 to 7 on the respective charts. These tracks feature vocals from Andrew Choi, Neckwav, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee.

Drake debuts at No. 9 on the Global 200 with “What Did I Miss?”

The Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, launched in September 2020 and recently marking 250 weeks, rank songs based on streaming and sales data collected by Luminate from over 200 regions. The Global 200 includes all countries, while the Global Excl. U.S. chart omits U.S. data.

Positions are determined by a formula that weighs only official streams — both subscription and ad-supported — across audio and video platforms, along with downloads from full-service global retailers, excluding sales from D2C websites.

“Golden” takes the Global 200’s top spot with 67.7 million streams (a 40% weekly increase) and 6,000 units sold (up 27%) worldwide during July 4–10.

“Ordinary” by Alex Warren slips to No. 2 after spending 10 weeks at No. 1 starting in May.

Saja Boys’ “Your Idol” rises to No. 3 on the Global 200 with 45.7 million global streams (a 22% boost), and “Soda Pop” moves up to No. 6 with 41.3 million (up 24%). Both tracks logged 3,000 global sales.

“Die With a Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars descends to No. 4 after holding the top position for 18 weeks since last September. “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars edges up to No. 5 after 12 weeks at No. 1 beginning in November.

Drake’s “What Did I Miss?” starts at No. 9 with 35.5 million streams and 7,000 sold globally from July 5 through July 10. This gives Drake a record 37 top 10 entries on the chart, followed by Taylor Swift (33) and Bad Bunny (25).

“Golden” also rules the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 49.1 million non-U.S. streams (up 40%) and 2,000 units sold (up 38%).

“Ordinary” moves to No. 2 on the Global Excl. U.S. list after spending eight weeks at the top since May. “Die With a Smile” remains at No. 3 following a 17-week reign beginning in September. “APT.” holds steady at No. 4, extending its streak after leading for a record 19 weeks starting in November.

“Your Idol” rockets from No. 15 to 5 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart with 30.3 million international streams (up 21%). “Soda Pop” climbs from 17 to 7 with 29.8 million (up 23%). They sold 1,000 and 2,000 units outside the U.S., respectively.

Billboard will refresh the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. rankings (dated July 19, 2025) on July 15 at Billboard.com.
