The California wildfires are continuing to ravage L.A., and many celebrities are doing their best to spread some kindness to the devastated community. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth donated $500,000 to The Malibu Foundation, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl cooked up barbecue for firefighters and now Lady Gaga has joined relief efforts by bringing pizza, coffee and gift cards to a Red Cross shelter.
On World Kindness Day Tuesday (Nov. 13), the 32-year-old A Star Is Born lead posted a video to social media detailing her plans. “I’m on my way now to a shelter in California to be with people who have evacuated their homes,” she said. “It’s one of my acts of kindness for today and I encourage you to do the same. Be kind.” Gaga later took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself holding a stack of pizza boxes.
Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation also helped out by partnering with Starbucks and SoulCycle to thank California firefighters.
Gaga evacuated her own home on Friday (Nov. 9) when the Woolsey Fire began ripping through Malibu.
