Billie Eilish isn’t slowing down, as she just announced a wave of new tour stops across the United States — and two extra performances in Tokyo — on Monday (May 19).
The pop star revealed the additional dates by posting a graphic on Instagram along with the caption: “heard you wanted more shows :pppp.”
After her Tokyo concerts on August 16 and 17, the new U.S. leg begins on October 11 with a trio of shows in Miami. From there, the “Lunch” singer will make her way through various cities including ones in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Arizona. The tour will wrap up with two final performances in San Francisco. +++++
This announcement follows roughly eight months after she first launched the “Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour” in support of her 2024 album of the same name. That leg began in September 2024, covering venues across the U.S. and Canada. She then moved on to perform in Australia in February and is currently touring Europe, which began on April 23 in Stockholm.
Eilish’s third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, came out on May 17, 2024. It followed her previous records When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019) and Happier Than Ever (2021), and it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
To mark the album’s one-year anniversary, the nine-time Grammy winner posted a collection of clips showing her friends listening to the album for the first time. She captioned it: “can’t even believe it’s been a whole year since the album came out.”
She added on Saturday (May 17): “Truly some of my favorite memories ever,” and expressed gratitude to her fans with, “love you guys. thank you all for giving this album so so much love.”
