Mark your calendars for Friday, Jan. 24, when The Weeknd will release his new album “Hurry Up Tomorrow.” The following day, he will perform a one-night-only concert at the Rose Bowl, with a stage that will cover the entire stadium floor.

This album completes the artist’s trilogy, following “After Hours” and “Dawn FM.” All three albums were released within a span of two years. The Weeknd also made history as the first artist to reach over one billion Spotify streams on 22 different individual tracks.

The Canadian singer revealed he was working on a new album on Sept. 4, and just three days later, he released the vinyl cover for “Hurry Up Tomorrow.” On Sept. 13, the album’s first single, “Dancing In Flames,” was released. He also dropped a collaboration with Brazilian pop star Anitta on Oct. 30, titled “Sao Paolo,” and held a special one-night concert in the city on the same day as the album’s announcement.

Additionally, a feature film named “Hurry Up Tomorrow” is in development, starring Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan. The movie, a musically driven psychological thriller, will be distributed by Lionsgate and directed by Trey Edward Shults (“Waves”). The film’s score was created in collaboration between Tesfaye and Daniel Lopatin.

His previous album, “Dawn FM,” featured collaborations with Tyler, The Creator and Lil Wayne, and Ariana Grande joined on a remixed version of “Save Your Tears” from “After Hours.”

Tickets for the Rose Bowl concert will go on sale on Dec. 2 at 10 AM PST via TheWeeknd.com.
