“I was like, ‘Your sister’s Camila Cabello though, why are you crying for me?””
Meeting one of your favorite artists can be an emotional experience — even if your sister is pop superstar Camila Cabello. When Sofia Cabello met Billie Eilish during her and her sister’s Elle cover shoot, she started up the waterworks, and Eilish humbly halted them.
The “Señorita” singer told Variety last month that her little sister “has never cried meeting anybody. She’s met Taylor [Swift], my sister’s met everybody.” But meeting Eilish was a different story: “And she literally, fully had tears running down in her face. She 100 percent likes her more than she likes me.”
Eilish recalled the same experience during her interview with Entertainment Tonight last week.
“She was there with her little sister, and her sister started sobbing because of me,” Eilish said. “And it was, like, insane. I was like, ‘Your sister’s Camila Cabello though, why are you crying for me?”
