Levi’s and Beyoncé Reimagine Iconic Ad with Sparkling Denim Showdown in ‘Pool Hall’

Levi’s has given a fresh take on one of its iconic advertisements, with Beyoncé leading the campaign.

On Monday (Feb. 24), the brand unveiled the second part of its collaboration with Queen B, titled “Pool Hall,” which reimagines a famous 1991 Levi’s commercial. In this version, Beyoncé faces off against a local pool expert, played by Timothy Olyphant, in a high-stakes match while dressed in sparkling, full Levi’s attire.

“There isn’t another wardrobe piece that evokes comfort, modern elegance, classic Americana attire, and nostalgia the way denim does,” Beyoncé shared in a statement.

“And when I think of all those things, I think of Levi’s.” She added, “For the second chapter in our collaboration we had even more fun reimagining the denim-on-denim look, through the perspective of a woman who can be sexy, bold, and a fierce competitor, all at once. We wanted to highlight the balance of grace and power.”

Like the first chapter, “Launderette,” the “Pool Hall” segment is directed by Grammy Award-winning Melina Matsoukas. The second chapter also features items such as the Ribcage Wide Leg jeans, the Braided Vest, and the Spade Trench, with prices ranging from $80 to $198, available for purchase here.

Additionally, the campaign pays homage to her song “LEVII’S JEANS” featuring Post Malone.
